The director and animator suffered of pancreatic cancer Cynthia A. Almanzar Japanese filmmaker and comic-book artist, Satoshi Kon, died in Tokyo on Tuesday at the age of 46. In statements issued by his wife and his studio, Madhouse, it was revealed that the cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
